Munir is a senior consultant with over 12 years of extensive experience in financial management and consultancy which include supervisory role in accounting, tax, financial planning and analysis with a publicly listed company.  During his financial management career, Munir was primarily responsible for tax planning strategies and implementation both annually and during various corporate actions such as financial restructuring, project loan sourcing, and business development.  In his consulting engagements, Munir assisted several major state-owned enterprises and private companies in developing and implementing their financial and accounting system as well as provide tax advisory on several tax cases.

Highlights of Munir's Experience include:

• Member of financial restructuring team of a public company engaged in property development.
• Critically evaluating the tax exposures of all subsidiaries and affiliated companies and devise a way so as to maximize the tax benefits and minimize the tax liabilities in the overall group perspectives.
• Liase with external auditors, appraisers, lawyers and financial advisors for annual financial statement presentation as well as corporate actions of a publicly listed property developer.
• Acting as a corporate representative in dealing with various tax authorities in the process of settlement of tax liabilities and with government authorities such as Bapepam in ensuring compliance to statutory requirements in financial statement disclosures.
• Prepare periodic research reports and information memorandum for private placements and IPOs with industry coverage ranging from banking & finance, automotive, cement, heavy equipment, hotel & property.
• Financial Controller & Director of a joint-venture company with Jurong Town Corporation, Singapore.

Qualifications:

• Registered Accountant with a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, University of Indonesia.
• Master Degree in Business Administration, University of Illinois, USA
