Herman has a long and intensive industry experience (19 years)  as investment banker and commercial banker. His commercial banking's areas of specialization include: international banking, treasury, controllership, and corporate banking. He brings in significant banking systems and corporate finance expertise to the firm. He was a principal of the legacy Arthur Andersen's Business Consulting and lead managed the corporate finance and financial systems services to banks and large corporations. And he was with Ernst & Young Advisory Service Indonesia.

Highlights of his experience include:

• Business consulting services to big Indonesian commercial banks on: operational restructuring assessment and design, performance measurement and business segmentation, financial information system and its alignment with core banking modules.
• Business consulting services to medium-to-large corporations (many industry) on: financial restructuring, strategic business plan assistance, valuation
• Executive director of one of the biggest 5 private commercial bank in Indonesia
• President Director of a securities company in Jakarta
• Group GM of a large merchant banking insitution in Jakarta
