Director of Fund Administration & Accounting Outsourcing - Singapore Head Office 

Tony has over 13 years of experience in financial accounting, fund administration and auditing services. 

Prior to founding First Trust Fund Administration and Accounting Outsourcing Services in 2005, Tony was the financial controller for a leading investment bank group for three years. Tony was responsible for directing and co-ordinating the consolidated financial and management reporting of over 30 subsidiaries and associates of Deutsche Bank Group spanning across the Asia Pacific region. This includes monthly account closing, consolidation of the group's results and associated financial analyses, annual statutory reporting, taxation and foreign exchange hedging. 

In addition to the above responsibilities, Tony was also actively involved in the evaluation of new structured products for the investment bank with the overall objective of ensuring that the appropriate accounting treatments are applied.

Prior to joining the investment bank group, Tony was an audit manager with the legacy Arthur Andersen.

Highlights of Tony's audit experience in Arthur Andersen include: 

• Performed statutory audits of public-listed corporations such as MMI Holding Limited, Links Island Holdings Limited and multi-national corporations like Federal Express as well as leading financial institutions.
• Advised a multi-national client which is principally engaged in the trading of electronic products on the application of the new accounting standard, IFRS 39, governing accounting for financial instruments including derivatives
• Conducted due diligence assignments to estimate the net worth of target companies through assessment of the historical and forecasted performance of these companies.
• Participated in an Operational Risk Management Framework project for a major local bank in Singapore

Tony was also a key manager in Arthur Andersen's Professional Standards Group, undertaking to inform and advise professional staff in Arthur Andersen Singapore in the areas of financial reporting, accounting, auditing, compliance and other regulatory matters relevant to financial institutions.

• Chartered Financial Analyst, CFA Institute
